Odd and pointless but I find myself strangely drawn to it - Am a sucker for down on their luck cars I guess !

I don't think they ever made 924 convertibles, so that would have been a standard 924 at some time and had the roof cut off.

So not only does it look a mess, isn't what it appears to be and has no service history, it will probably be a complete disaster to drive.

As the good man said, "No, on so many different levels."

Surely it does not have the 944 / 968 Cabrio double floor... in which case it must have the torsional rigidity of an over-ripe banana!
if it does have the double floor, though I am not sure how you could add it, he would be well advised to say so...

Oh yes I am sure its horrible in many, many ways !

I am well known for my dislike of cabs full stop so I dont like it but fair do's at least they arent asking dreamy money for it so it may appeal to someone who is in to the more ' custom ' car.

Regards Mas

Feeling odd today but I like it - it looks ok and he is not pretending about it.
Would like to have a look to see how the job was done.

There was a specialist 924 cabriolet available (two suppliers, IIRC), but thats certainly not one of them. Without the triple layer chassis rails itll be like Mr Softs car...

I'd expect that to have originally been a Bieber Borken kit, and wouldn't be surprised if it was built by Pilgrim cars of Plymouth who tend to be responsible for most of the conversions completed in the UK.

I suspect at some later date someone has tried to make it look like a 944 cabby, and failed!!!
