Today is the day I pick up my shiny new Porsche Boxster!! I can't wait and the few hours left are killing me...

Only thing is I planned a trip to the Highlands with the car but it's going to be cold and blizzardy!!! Hope this evening is nice for a run along the coast from Edinburgh...

[8D]Know that feeling having picked mine up on March 17th which was a very nice sunny and warm day which continued right through my first bonding weekend ... Good luck and hopefully good weather isn't too far off now [;)]

Fantastic!

Don't worry - the new car will give you a nice warm feeling[:)]

Don't forget to let Club Office know the new details so that we can send you a register sticker (eventually, once we get some more printed...[8|])

Will do.

Maybe the snow will magically dissapear! I'm taking the car to France for a couple of days very soon so hopefully will get the top down then... At least I will have heated seats and a warm hat! Sooooooooooooo excited!!!! [:D]

Great news! Trouble is, the sales guy spends ages telling you how everything works and it all goes in one ear and out the other. All you really want is to drive away.

My 987 is one month old today. It is the first I've had with heated seats and they are fabulous, especially on those sharp spring days when the sunshine demands the roof down but the temperature is still mid-winter.

Best of all for me is dropping the top on the move - and no chop!

Have fun [:D]

I hope he doesnt take ages! I want to drive it!!!!!!

My car is a Seal Grey too Brian!!!

Oh, how I long for that! I feel a right twonk having to get out and "chop" everytime. Only a 2 months for me.... (and Seal for me too!!).

...and it doesn't help that it is always raining in Dunfermline; it could be the sunniest day in Edinburgh and as soon as you cross the Forth Road Bridge, it is pouring!

Do post some pics with the highland backdrops... Enjoy!

I collected my car from Stuttgart 07.03.05 in snow and -14 degrees and spent 5 days driving thru France. Both were great . Enjoy.

A quick question - the dealer gave me black mats by mistake - I'm changing them to stone grey to match the car - is that a good idea?
