Too much honesty?

ORIGINAL: stevie d

There's a thread i started about it on the TIPEC forum here http://forums.tipec.net/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=10892 if you can put up with the terrible puns [:(]

Excellent. I love a bad pun and that really is about as bad as you can get! [:D][:D][:D]

Have to say that the seller is going to be lucky to get anything for that car. It's not the tree damage, just that it was a neglected wreck before. It's a testament to the strength of the car that there's so little damage!

That's just down the road from me. I offered him £100 for it lets see what he says.should be good for a punt.If I get it I will put it on the road as it is .

I think it would be good fun to put it on the road with only the essential work done i.e. door handels etc and then run it as it is.

I bet it would be nice cleaned and tidied up - nice wheels and I like the Martini style script down the side

Contrast the price of this on ebay a few minutes ago.......

....which I viewed and is as good as the vendor describes - with the 'unloved wreck ' we are talking about; so if £1060 buys you a very tidy car with unmarked interior then the wreck is worth about £50!

Values of these cars are hard to pinpoint

Huge chunk about to fall of the rear arch and what appear to be very rotten sills, and how can they say the bonnet is fine when you look at this picture!! [&:]
