Tool kit

Hi,

A long shot this, but I had a call yesterday from someone asking where he could buy a tool kit for his 944. Unfortunately he left no name, no number, and nothing came up on the phone log. [&o]

If you're a forum user and read this then the answer is probably yes, depending what tool kit you mean. I assume the tool roll, which Porscheshop stock for something like £100, or you can buy the roll seperately if it's tatty. I've seen them go for nearly that used, so new would seem sensible (and haggle for the Club discount [;)]).

Always worth leaving the number on an answerphone message, as my phone doesn't log the caller if it's in a no-signal area and the option to "reuturn call" wasn't there either.

I find it ammusing that, in other posts, you support free access to this forum but have directed us to one that requires membership..[:-]

Not that Im aware of, but it may be that you need to be registered and logged in in order to view profiles. To the best of my knowledge the TIPEC forum is more easily accesible than the PCGB forum as you only need to register in order that you may post.

I presumed that P-Mac was a member, so this wouldnt be an issue. I have posted to help Paul, rather than to provide interest for others.

Of course Geoff, if you want me to rejoin the club then you can start by returning the money that the club owes me and apologising for flouting the DPA.

Thanks Simon, I am indeed a "guest" on the Tipec site, although TBH I never go there now as it's so often the same people asking the same questions! [&:]

Maybe it was Frank, hope so as he got the same answer on Tipec.
