Tool to loosen / tighten door slam plate!

the door slam plate on the drivers side needs moving in a couple of mm, door is sitting proud and has done for ages. looking at the set marks, the plate is on -ve adjustment so all it needs is correcting back to 0/0 and it should sit fine !

But - tried every socket and attachement and i cant find anything that will fit the stupid star type sockets, not even the star sockets I have! the 16mm hex almost fits, but isnt right and will just round it off - so what it the right tool?

also lookign through the porsche PET / workshop manuals it states 28ftlb torque - which seem very low for such an item ? anyone any ideas?
