Michelle in Top Gear Production Office (020 8752 4418) has been let down, and she needs a standard 996 turbo for a days filming at Dunsfold in Surrey next Wednesday. If you have the car and the time, this could make for an interesting day out - please liaise directly with Michelle asap.

Didn' t see it Brian - what happened?
On the assumption that the Jaguar was damaged whilst in the hands of the Production Company, it would be reasonable to presume that it was covered under their insurance.
The lesson is that in any potentially ambiguous situation like this, get it in writing from whichever insurers are involved, just who is picking up the responsibility for what!

I' m not surpised to hear that nobody wants to lend them a car any more. Adrian Hamilton laid into them yesterday on BBC 5 Live for abusing and wheelspinning, then damaging his father' s Le Mans winning C type. I admit they paid for the damage, but I would rather keep my car undamaged. Surely Porsche GB should be supplying them with cars to test?
