I'm sure you've seen it advertised, but just in case you've missed it...
Top gears hamster does the 007 cars tonight
BBC2 at 9pm

I don't know what I actually expected it to be..
However for an hour I happily sat and watched TV remembering all those amazing stunts and cars with a little bit more insight into them via the program.

The submarine car I thought was a bit pointless but very Top Gear and in some ways they would be the only people who could/would try to do it, so for that I raise my motoring hat to them.

I thought it was quite interesting, particularly since some of those cars were on show at Beaulieu in the summer when 997 Register were present at the show there.!

Thanks for bringing it to our attention, Gary. [:)]

Regards,

Clive.

Some nice insights. The Casino Royale bit was scary though, that DBS really did roll, and you had the feeling that they were genuinely experimenting!

I've taken on a client who's a top stuntman. His shed is like an aladins-cave of equipment, from horseriding kit, through martial arts gear, scuba gear, and a huge stock of crash mats. Brave people, but it's so much better than the cheaper CGI stunts.

Saying I've "taken on" a stuntman as a client, I mean in the financial sense. I'm not that brave....[&:]

Especially one who wears scuba gear, sweetheart!!! [;)]

Bond had some rather poor cars when you look back ! There is an obvious piece of kit missing from the film makers choice too !!

McLaren are British...

Saw the new Bond last night - most disappointed with the cars in it :(
