Hi,
I took my 98 996 C4 (extended warranty) into OPC Bristol to do a service and MOT and it came back with the comment that the 'Top Shocker Mounts are Split' - not covered by the warranty. When I asked cost/implications I was told it would possibly fail a future MOT and would cost £1100..... What precisely has failed and is it true that this will likely lead to an MOT failure? The cost was apparently high because a wheel relaignment would be required. Does this all seem reasonable?? Any comments welcomed. I live near Gloucester.
Many thanks,
Brian
