Top tip for all 996 4wd owners, c4, turbo etc

So as some people may already know, the 996 four wheel drive models all have different suspension to the 2wd models. This means that when it comes to replacing the front strut top mounts you don't really have many options. Genuine porsche items are well over £200 each and there are only a handful of aftermarket ones which are not much cheaper.

Well I have good news for you all. I can now confirm having just replaced both mine tonight that you can buy genuine porsche ones for a 997 and they fit just fine. Not only do they fit, there identical and if anything look to be much better quality then the original 996 ones.

Now for the best bit, with your Pcgb discount there around £74 each. Yes that's correct you can get both parts for less than one original one just by using the part number for the 997 and not only that, they typically keep them in stock at your opc so you can get them straight away like I did.

Just thought I would share that with you all as now my clunky steering has been resolved and I can now think about buying some goodies :)
