Top Windscreen Trim

I have been investigating a problem with the top winscreen trim on my 1983 car.
Part of the trim had come away due to a corroded clip revealing an incredible amount of dirt underneath.
A photo will appear in the next (June 2017) edition of PP.
I have just received some shiny new replacement clips; but have noticed that there is corrosion bubbling up underneath the paintwork in small patches - looks like windscreen out project approaches!
