Now that summer is (was, according to the weather forecast for the weekend) here, has anyone mastered the art of cleaning the insect splatted windscreen while driving without getting wet? A quick single flash on the screenwash release does work sometimes but I hope their is a better way"¦

...and that is cos there is no eating or drink allowed in her cars, not even a mist of screenwash... harsh...[

I usually opt for 5 or six quarter pulls on the lever between wiper swings to give a nice inadeqate dribble of spray on the windscreen.....sometimes you get lucky and it goes high enough to not wash your face too!
