torque wrench

I have posted on this before but cannot find the reply, so apologies ! can anyone confirm the torque setting for wheel nuts on an S2. Also, what size attachment do i need? Am going to buy a torque wrench but there seem to be 2 types, size 1/2 and 3/8. What's the difference?? cheers in advance.
