Touch-up paint

I've got several tiny spots that need touching up around my car....the colour is Light Ivory any ideas where I would be able to get my hand on some touch up paint (the small ones with the brushes)??

I got a chip repair pen thing from Halfords . . . obviously I couldn't go in and ask for 1971 Bahia Red . . . . but after a bit of trial and error (they kindly let me try before buying) I found a Ford red that matches. The little chip pen tool is excellent (you kind of syringe the paint into the chip), plus there's a tiny brush. It's only good for chips really.

My reckoning was, red particularly will have faded over time so even if I got a pot of proper Bahia red, it wouldn't match my car.

Having said all this, with Light Ivory, fading is not really an issue so you might was well try OPC first.

Tried my local (Colchester) OPC.....all i can say is that they were THE most un-helpful organisation i have ever had the mis-pleasure of dealing with......thank god i havent got a new Porsche and have to deal with these people all the time !!!!!

If you find a local trade paint supplier to the auto trade, they will make you up an aerosol can to the correct colour using the original factory paint code number. Then to touch up small chips, buy a fine tip artists paint brush, shake the can well, ans spray a little into the lid or onto an old saucer or something. Then dip the brush in it and apply to the chip.

You must have caught them on a bad day!
I've dealt with Lancasters in Colchester for 10 years & without a doubt for me it is the best parts centre I have ever been in ..always helpful, even on the phone and send small parts out in the post with my PCGB 10% discount and often only a minimal charge for pp.
Suspension components ranged from 10-14% discount & were only beaten on price by a guy in the midlands......by £5 on a £1200 order! [:)] Happy days!
