TPM Question

Anyone able to advise whether I have TPM function on my 2010 997 Gen 2 or not?

I don't appear to have the TPM option available to me from the on-board computer, although in the manual it does mention that the 'Selection Field must be switched off' in order to access it (I'm not sure how I go about doing that). All other functions i.e. LIMIT, INFO, TEL, OIL etc. are all available. Does this mean that I don't have TPM available / enabled? If I were to fit tyre pressure sensors would they automatically be picked up and enable TPM on the computer? Should the TPM option be available on the computer even though sensors are not fitted or batteries dead etc.

Grateful for your help.

You need to check if TPM was added to your cars spec when ordered. I don’t think it was a legally required option then like it is now.

You can also see if the tyre valves are either rubber or some kind of metal. Metal equals TPMS.
