TPM Question

I have a question regarding my TPM system. I have my tyres set correctly in my pcm. They indicate 33 for the front and 39 for the rears. My TPM is showing the correct pressures in my tyres and it's set to partial load. The thing is when I check the difference it's displaying positive pressures for the tyres. They do exceed the set amounts when the tyres are warm. Is it actually displaying what the pressures have exceeded whilst driving? Any guidance on the TPM system would be most grateful, many thanks.
