Hi,
My recently acquired 2014 981S does not have TPM.
it does have Bose,NAV,Cruise,etc.
Having acquired a tpm set of wheels does anyone know if the column module can be retrofitted.
OPC says NO and if it was possible I'm sure they would have taken my money!
Does anyone think different?

Better without imho. No batteries to renew and one less thing to potentially go wrong ??

I ordered by 981 Boxster with TPMS but when it arrived at the dealer the factory had failed to fit it. So I asked the dealer to retrofit it. After considerable research the dealer concluded that it would need a lot of work to do so including fitting sensors in all the wheel arches and considerable dismantling. I did not want my new car taken to bits as I suspected that they would not put it back together as it was originally. So I settled for financial compensation instead.

when I bought my 981 boxster,I looked for a car that did not have tpms on ,I think it was standard on all cars from nov 2014 my car is a june 2013 model year, if you really wanted tpms you can buy a kit that will fit any car on e bay for about £80,(a few plug into 12v socket on car ,and have sensors for each wheel)

I have a Steel Mate TPM70 kit no longer used as my current cars all have factory TPMS

The Steel Mate warned me twice of punctures which resulted in 2 repairs instead of being stranded somewhere with a ruined flat tyres and with no spare wheel these days that's the last thing you need on a cold wet dark night :ROFLMAO:[]

The monitor plus into the cigarette lighter socket and powers itself off after 5 minutes of not detecting any movement

If you are interested in purchasing with 3 brand new batteries for the actual tyre cap sensors (can't find the 4th spare battery but I think the batteries last around 2 years) please PM me
