TQ: "Light Noise" Automatic gearbox

Any Automatic drivers out there, not much to go on but does this sound like anything to worry about?

Register member Craig asks:

On tick over there is a very light noise coming from the gearbox (OUCH) it changes gear fine and under load the noise doesnt change i.e get louder. Any ideas before my bank balance takes a massive hit for a rebuild? It is an automatic and im reluctant to strip it myself.

I cant see any oil loss and all gears select smoothly and pressure seems fine.

Only knocking I've ever heard on a '24 auto is fron the bell housing so not a great help if this is coming from inside the 'box.
Despite owning 2 autos in a row and replacing the box on the S I'm no expert.

Is the noise coming from the torque tube end of the 'box?
