TQ: Water in drivers footwell

Hello all, can anyone provide an answer to the following question

Hi! I have just been to look at a 924S today. All is well with the car except it has a water leak in it somewhere. The drivers side floor is soaked with water but I cannot see any obvious place for the water to have got in (e.g. sunroof, door). Would you be s kind as to help me understand how big a deal this water leak could be & how difficult it would be to resolve? I would be most grateful.

Paul as you say
  • Sunroof Seals
  • Sunroof Drain Tubes
  • Door Seals
  • Window Seals
all the same suspects as a 924Lux

After 2-3 years of having a soggy passenger footwell i finally applied the 924 forum 'bathroom sealant to the windscreen seal' fix.

Absolutely champion! [:)] Strange looks during application in the street, but otherwise faultless!

Years ago i had an early 944 which leaked into the passenger footwell. It turned out to be the battery acid had burnt a hole though the bulkhead.
After some sympathetic welding it was all sorted. The car was only 3 yrs old too!

My passenger footwell was wet in heavy rain and found that it was the drain hole adjacent to the fuse box that was blocked so when all the rain came off the windscreen it filled up and overflowed. Worth a look.
