Track control arm failure after circa 10k

Just thought I'd share my experience of track control failure. Replaced the fronts about a year and a half ago and had only covered 10-15k miles. I had noticed that the handling had become rather twitchy for a while but thought it was just worn front tyres. Decided to investigate and found I could move the front wheels backwards and forwards by about an inch either way. Turned out that the center bushes were completely mullered. I bought these from MclubAuto and paid over £300 for them, they are made by Hamburg-Technic. MclubAuto were not interested in replacement because they were over a year old.
So I have now replaced these with OE for a lot less money as the prices seem to have come down, coupled with new front tyres the car handles great now.
I know the roads where I live are really bad but I just felt that this wasn't very good service.
