Great day was had by all - well attended, perfect sunny weather and lots of activity - good lunch as well.

Thanks to John Hawkins and his staff for organising such a great track day.

I had a fantastic time - as usual it was well organised and Glyn kindly organised the weather for us!

Surprised you didn't take the Boxster around for a few 'hot laps'!
(BTW looks really good in white)

Morning Guys,

I thought I was the only person there from this forum on the trackday.

Great day, really enjoyed it. My first ever trackday.

Did anybody else see the bad behaviour the marshall's mentioned? I only ever saw one person overtake on the corners.

I was off when the marshalls called everybody in - so had no idea what it was all about.

Simon, Were you driving the yellow Boxster?

Boxster S, please[;)]

Yip, the young pup.

I think I have you on camera gunning it down the straight[:D] With one of those GT2 RS's hurtling up behind you. Sounds amazing.

We were all given a mild bollocking because of the amount of wreckless driving going on. Crofts words not mine.

There were instances where people were overtaking on corners, on the right, under yellow flags and red flags.

Still, an amazing day. And what a fantastic selection of cars turned up.

....I think you'll find that I had just overtaken the GT2 RS[:D]

If I'm not mistaken Glyn from specialist cars was one of the culprits overtaking on the right around a corner - although he will tell you he cant remember

Well I was on a passenger ride with somebody? And that person did some questionable overtaking.

My wife was doing some laps with one of the instructors, and we undertook her on a corner[8D]

She said the instructor was furious.

Still, a great day. John's looking at another one in September, might see you there[:)]
