Region 4 (lLincs & Humberside) have run an really successful Track Day at Blyton Park (near Gainsborough) in May in previous years with a format especially suitable for people new to track days but also great fun for experienced track day users. Novices have instructors provided FOC

I went to the last day in May this year, my first ever track day, and had an absolutely fabulous time. I had an instructor with me for the group sessions which meant that I learned what to do (and what not to do!) and build up my speed to enjoy driving my car in the manner it was built for in way that you can't do on the public road.

The day was brilliantly run and everyone was very friendly and helpful. I also had several passenger rides in some very nice and exciting cars.

The reason why I am posting is that the May event was such a success that they are running another one on Friday September 26th, but although May was over subscribed, they don't yet have enough entries for the event to go ahead. So, if you are interested please get in touch with Richard RO R4 at <r4@porscheclubgb.com>

So if you're like me, a track day virgin, this is your chance to give a track day a try.

Or if you're a seasoned campaigner, all those experienced participants in May also said that they'd had a great day as well.

Due to the success of our last event and demand for a further "Northern area" event, we have managed to secure the circuit to run another event on Fri 26 Sept 2014. PCGB Motorsport have sanctioned the event, more details to follow shortly! The cost for this event will remain the same as our previous day at:
£100/driver full day - £70 half day (PCGB Members)
£120 full day and £85 half day (Non-members)

R4 have managed to secure sponsorship for this event from Rennspeed Porsche Specialists, Gainsborough, Lincolnshire.

Seriously thinking about this, have my order form and chequebook next to me,

What was your experience regarding stonechips, I am quite confident I won't be smashing my car up but I am worried about stonechips !!
I have the same car as yourself, we met at RPM, Simon with the white Boxster S.

Simon, I think there are only four cars on track at a time, so you don't get them, unless you are right behind.

I am sorry to say we have had to cancel the Blyton Park event until May 2015 due to lack of interest.
We had only had 5 entry forms and cheques returned and needed a minimum of 26 to cover the costs.

Sorry for those who wanted to attend, we hope to see you in 2015.
