nice pics ..... Car went well, pity I could not give it max myself first time out, learnt a hell of a lot. The adjustable boost as explained by Paul McLean when I bought the car he explained has to be used to match the atmospheric conditions. I was a bit bemused at first on the road with the stuttering, the ECU cutting the spark as too much power. The boost is not purely for dialling in more power boost, but matching the conditions and turning up and down accordingly. Took me half a lap to turn a few degrees and the whole session did not miss a beat. Those clever Porsche Turbo old school boys certainly knew what they were doing back with the old 934/5 ... so mechanical and involving. Nick my instructor mate, showed me how to drive the car in no uncertain terms, he was only at 7/10th as well! End of the day young Nick, current Dunlop Ford Fiesta Champion, just said the best customer car he had ever driven. As an instructor and having driven every type of Ferrari, Aston and dare I say Porsche, that was a great compliment to the car and how well Paul McLean has set up and developed the car over the years. "It doesn't squirrel" whatever that means ... "handles beautifully, so much Torque" ... says young Nick, I want one .... Another young man Robert 17 years young enjoyed his several Birthday drives. Am I converting the youth to Old school Pork ...[:D]

Afternoon chaps, Just thought I would say Hi, I was in the Red 996 GT3 on Wednesday. Very good fun evening, but I did feel a little sorry for the 964 driver that beached his car ! James

The 964 owner, in fact an SC cloned ... thinks he's the fastest out, know him well .... Jimbo Fangio Wilkinson owner of 3PPP coachworks .... hes given himself a quote which he is discussing with himself, starting at 1000 bound to end up 50K and three years in shop[;)]
