Jetix,
AON Insurance will do track day cover they do avertise in the porsche post their Midlands branch tel: 01384 552731 will be able to help....

You could also try A Manning (advertise in Porsche Post_.

They are also now offering single track-day cover at reasonable rates, if you decide to stay with your current company.

Also try Competition Car Insurance who I believe do track day cover policies.

Tel 0115 941 5255.

Ian.

From recent quotes, I'd steer clear of Competition Car Insurance. They were quoting around the same level Aon and Manning, but there was no RAC cover and an excess of £5000. I'm not saying they're a bad company, but their deal was nowhere near as attractive as the others.

C. Nash - Don't even waste money on the call. More than double the competition!!! Seems they might be getting fed up with Porsche drivers!

After ringing about ten companies, I ended up with Aon, who were the cheapest by about 10%, offer five included trackdays and then £26.50 per trackday thereafter and a more reasonable excess. Full european RAC cover too.

Regards

Maybe I misunderstand the request. I thought Amit was asking for pure track day cover on top of his existing policy therefore my suggestion of CCI.

If you can get it included in your road insurance it seems to be much cheaper. I use A Manning for mine.

Hi,
In preparation for my first track day my insurer has agreed to extend insurance cover at no cost but two penalties apply. Firstly I must pay 20% of any claim made, secondly third party cover is excluded. Is this later exclusion normal and advisable? Comment, advice and recommendation, from regular track day enthusiasts, will be gratefully received.
Richard

Ins Co taking 80% of risk for no additional premium seems pretty good to me.

I would worry about lack of third party cover if you injured a marshall or anybody - check with the organiser if they have cover and get it all in writing.

have a search on the older posts in the trackday forum as there are a few on insurance
