Hi fellow 996 owners...
I wanted to share some info on a Silverstone track day on the full GP circuit (yes all 3.6 miles of it!) on April 26th - cost is £370 for the day and includes access for two people to their drivers lounge and inclusive food. Instructors are available at extra cost as is helmet hire. I booked through Julie Hartfield at Silverstone on 0844 3728235 - she was very helpful in sorting things and providing all the necessary info. their site also offers links to local B&B etc for the night before the event.
PS As with all track day events you must arrange track day insurance if not covered on your policy - try ManningUK if you haven't as they offer track cover as part of the policy - "Track day cover is included for any track day organised by a recognised car club of which you are a member. Track days organised by any company that are members of either the Association of Track Day Organisers (ATDO) or the Federation of Auto Moto Event Organisers are also automatically covered."
