I am going on my first trackday at Croft Circuit at the end of July and am wondering is it possible to get insurance for vehicle and personal liability etc or is vehicle insurance not available ?
Any suggestions of who to use?

Thanks

Nick [:D]

Hi Nick I use REIS who used to be Richard Egger. They can do one off insurance per event but I have my race/track car insured with them for the road, full comp and ISTR it includes the first 5 or 6 trackdays free. The catch though is a pretty high excess, I believe its 10% of the agreed value.

You don't need any insurance for personal liability on a uk track day - everyone attends at their own risk and signs up on that basis.

MORIS might be worth trying also

Your best bet is to look for an insurer who will throw in track day cover as part of a standard policy. i used to use HIC.

I'm with Adrian Flux who have recently started to offer trackday insurance as a 'bolt-on', but you need to already have a policy with them. not sure if its good value;
