Tracking my 997

I have just taken part in a novice track session at Oulton Park. Fantastic! The 997 is just so awesome on the track. Turned the PASM to sport and the car handled absolutely brilliantly. Aren't public road surfaces terrible really!
Need to arrange some track cover insurance for the next event!

Yes the 997 is brilliant on track, especially with PASM. But read the thread on tyre wear!!!! As for insurance..... read that thread too. Personally I took a risk as PCGB track days are very well controlled and as long as you are mindful that you have £70K of uninsured car on track, you hopefully will survive. You will find that the premium and Xcess rather eye watering!
