Tracking

At one of the club meetings somebody (sorry, can't remember who) mentioned a company in Buckley that they'd used for tracking.

Any chance of contact details please?

Buckley tyres - they have laser alignment rig with all the Porsche settings, even my 987 with PASM was on there !

Cost me about £23 as only one wheel adjustment required - OPC want £180 !

can definately recommend them have had tyres from them and friends have had their cars (rs2 and 968) both aligned and set up they know what they are doing

Please correct me if I am wrong but IIRC four wheel laser only does tracking, the Porsche setup also measures chamber and caster.

Still not cheap and I think £180 is just for the test and not any adjustment. The bill could end up extortionate if they come across a seized bolt[;)]

SueT can ignore all this if she only wants tracking done due to uneven tyre wear.

Buckley tyres do toein , camber and castor (not adjustable on the Boxsters). all four wheels are independently checked for values, and then as an axle pair. All to the Porsche specifications. If you want something different (ie for track use) they are happy to adjust to that provided there is enough available on the car.

Just spent £369 on two new tyres and full tracking set up at buckley tyres yesterday on my BMW![]

Great set up down there!
