Tracknight Cancelled

Just received a call from Ian saying that tonights KH tracknight is cancelled due to flooding.
 
Yeah, funny that. I just found out when I arrived at Knockhill
at 6pm.

Nice 300 mile round trip from Aberdeen for sweet FA!!

£40 of fuel down the tube and no phone call from anyone again!

Great!

Should I have called the track?? Why, the weather wasnt bad from
where I was coming from!! DUH!!

Cheque's in the post are they??????
 
just in from 4 1/4 hour round trip to knockhill it would have been good manners to give the guys that had booked notification of cancelation which according to staff at the circuit was made at mid-day
 
Ok, so now I have to post humble aplogies to Iain!!

Got home after being away on business for a couple of
days, and yes, Iain had left a message on my answering machine!!


Anyone want a piece of my 'pie' ???
 
Sorry for all of you who had travelled a fair distance to attend .
I was on holiday . As the weather was horrendous down here it was cancelled by KH due to flooding on the track as late as 1pm I beleive it has been re-scheduled for Sat 10 July between 3-5 sign on at 2.30 But please check with Ian to confirm As I take no part in organising track nights I think it would have been imposible to contact every single person ,as a lot of guys just turn up on the night . Ian is in a no win situation It is the same when I organise events and no one turns up I have spoken to Ian tonight at 6.30 and he contacted every one he had a contact no for .

That sound you can hear is just me having a laugh when I think of the superb weather we had at Twynholme in early May!
Just so's you feel better, I had to put our heating back on middle of last week.........and that in the sunny South East (oh & that was two days after I installed a new gas BBQ in sweltering heat) ! So it's probably all my fault.
Hope the weather is OK next weekend......we're off to Old Warden for the Shuttleworth Collection flying display and car show.

All the best to the mob up there :p
 
It never rains in Scotland As you know we are the chosen people ...well sometimes . Yes it was rather wet ,could not see much from the top of the Cairngorms it was snowing yes snow in June . Hope weather holds up for your event

Ian has confirmed Sat 10th july 3-5 and hope you pre check weather conditions for K/H and not your local areas as we live in Scotlnd !!! see yous at K/h [8D][8D]

Cos darn ere knocking is somfink ravar.... whell not what yur grandmuver wud approve of like.
