Traction control problem?

Some of you may have read my previous post on this a few weeks ago. When moving slowly (e.g. reversing out of the garage) the yellow '!' warning lamp flashed (like it does when TC kicks in on a 'spirited' drive) accompanied by a sound I can only liken to driving over a plastic bottle, but only from the rear n/s wheel. Following this I drove with the TC off which cured the problem, but got it checked out by my local indy anyway. They plugged it in to the diagnostic and did both static and moving tests but no fault codes were recorded. I have since driven the car hard a couple of times but with the TC on, and the problem appears to have gone - until I put it in the garage yesterday!! I am a bit stuck as to what to do next - there are no faults showing and I do not want to pay out possibly hundreds of pounds on 'exploratory surgery'! Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how did you sort it out?

Thanks!

Are the brake lights working properly? (ie not flickering when you apply them). I can't remember - is it Tip or Manual? It's just that with a Tip you would be using your brakes reversing out the garage.

It's manual, and as far as I am aware the brake lights are working fine (I watched the mechanic driving off in it the other day and can't remember any flickering!).

Thanks
