We are hosting a Porsche 924/944/968/928 meet up on Sunday 16th April 2023, from 10.00 to 14.00.

It’s not restricted to Club members, any Transaxle Porsche from the ‘70s, ‘80s or ‘90s is welcome.

Just a free space to come with your classic transaxle and meet fellow enthusiasts, nothing more, no pressure, open to concours cars, racers, projects and daily drivers, if its road legal, its welcome!

Think of it as an expanded 944 Rutland Water meet, for those who remember them.

Cattows Farm & Tea Rooms, it has a large events field and a lovely tea room cafe, the food has been tested and is great!

Situated between the A42 Ashby de la Zouch and M1at Coalville, its less than 2 hours from the M25 and Bristol, less than that from Manchester, Leeds and Sheffield and much less from Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham, even Newcastle is less than 3 hours.

It is free but we do need you to register please, here so we can organise parking etc.

Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Mike & David

Checks map.........only 315 miles for me!! Interestingly only 50 miles from my work head office in Market Harborough.

I'm not ruling it out, would need to rope in one of my mates and head down on the Saturday for an overnight stay and a few beers on the Saturday evening somewhere nearby that remotely resembles civilisation! That will be an easier sell than a 4.30am departure on Sunday morning and 11 hours in the car both ways I think!

Leave it with me.

Any chance you might supply the address or postcode for the meeting?

Swepstone Rd, Heather, Coalville LE67 2RF

Looks to be just slightly North East of Leicester.

I have already booked, and I'm hoping the looming date will put a fire under me to get the car back on the road.

Ahh this one is a bit closer for me, can I bring my 996? [:D]

Bringing the 944 might be a bit of a stretch seeing as it doesn't have rear suspension or drive train fitted at the moment [:D]

I’m in a similar position - highly unlikely I will get it ready for the event. I would Really like to be there to see other cars and speak to owners about what they have done. Can we have a section hidden away for arriving in other cars?

Is this still on? Many Going? Was thinking about coming in my red car with my daughter.

Yes - Mike Pollock has been doing a great job advertising it, I think he’s up to 20+ cars now.

Was hoping to make it but had forgotten we are celebrating a friends birthday on the Sunday - and were are also out late Saturday so risk of a hangover is high! Hope you all have a good turnout and great weather!
