A few of us over on the 944 forum are going on a trackday together at Bedford next March 25th,its a 120 quid or thereabouts...(if you book now, price will go up as it fills) and will be alot of fun.
Its open pit all day and some of us are bringing standard cars, some track beasts,so if you have a 968 and fancy an imformal freindly gathering and a day of tranaxle fun with plenty of runnoff, Bedford is a great place to let rip.
More the merrier,after all a 968 is just a 944 S3 right[:D]!!???
The track day company is called Javelin trackdays,so dust off your 968 get booked in and come along,it will be a great day.[:D].
There is a thread over on the 944 forum put your name down on the booked list so we can know you are coming and we can have some pre trackday banter which is half the fun.[:)]

........ small point of info, Bedford is very concerned about noise and they have strict rules. Fully std cars should be just fine but if you have an aftermarket exhaust or are blowing all sorts out through your T??? turbo thingy, then beware.

I may be wrong but do not think they allow race cars on trackdays there either, so check that as well if it applies.

I might join this one in a road car, it is so close to me it would be rude not to!

NB The Javelin site says: Noise Limits : 101 dba Static and 87.5 dba Driveby .......... seems generous enough.

So far over on the 944 forum we are up to 9 cars entered on this trackday[:)],it's the Bedford GT circuit,a great variety of bends some with epic runoff so you can go banzai and you just slip off onto concrete runnoff,it's 129 pounds(if u book early) for a full day of open pit, anybody interested? It would be great to see the cars all together,if anyone here posts on 968 uk,could you put up an invitational post?

I'm up for this, will book in the next day or two.

I did the Bedford circuit with the 911uk guys a few years back in my supercharged clubsport, and we had an absolute hoot.

Less impressed was the instructor who was in my car when I spun it in the wet. Twice. Ooops.[:D]
