transporting wheels in the boot?

I need to pick up a set of 4 teledials with tyres fitted.
Will I get them all in the back of my 944?
Can I get one in the spare wheel well if I let the air out the tyre?

If you fold the rear seats forward then it's no problem at all, just have to wedge them in in the right order (it'll become obvious!), you can keep the space saver in place too.

Excellent - thanks Peter.

I took 6 bags of garden waste and a dismantled TV cabinet to the tip yesterday in the 944.

Unlike my previous sportcars it's proving to be very practical as well as the best handling.[:)]

Annoyingly my S2 is now better than my van at carrying large loads after I had the rear of my van fitted out to make it more efficient for work!

Hi Ian
You can get up to 205 tyres in the spare wheel well, but as guys have said its easy with the back seatsdown to get them all in.
Glad you've got the ones you wanted now

Your car has the carpet that goes over the full size spare (although I noticed there wasn't one there [:D] )

4 wheels go in quite easily - even easier with the carpet out. Be careful when you close the hatch & make sure the wheels aren't fouling the wiper motor housing.

thanks all.

They're refurbished and direct replacements for my very scruffy ones which I'll be able to refurbish at leisure and sell on, as and when[:D]

And well spotted Ed - there's a can of tyreweld tucked up next to the battery[:)]

Totally unrelated, but been out on a drive today and the petrol light came on with 415 miles driven from a full tank...so, fairly happy with my mpg based on one trip to York and back and a daily commute of 18 miles and a fairly heavy right foot.
