Treasure hunt / South Africa

Dear comrades,
as posted some time earlier, I am looking around for a nice affordabel N/GT. Paul at GT Classics keeps looking around for me.

By coincidence I came across an ad from a dealer in South Africa for a RHD 964 RS Touring. Pretty interesting, actually. Didn't know that RSses made it down there. Check it out:

Anyone ever discussed importing a car from down there. Not that I am interested in the RS Touring, but I wonder whether collective experience exists.

Cheers,
Klaus

I don't think there are enough 993 CS for any colour to be that popular?? [;)]

Black 964/993 do look great though, personally I avoided buying a black Cs as I felt I might cook inside the car on track in the summer months, with no headlining thay seem to really heat up.

Des, clearly I agree with your sentiment on colour! But the car does look good value, and seems to fit the brief.

Yes it looks OK (but could you live with a black ngt?)... surprised Paul has not posted in the REAL market place Europe in Euro ... I would guess that is where it will go ..
