I use the CTek MXS 5. Or my Lidle copy version depending on where I park the car in the garage.

CTEK has recently introduced the CT5 START/STOP. It delivers a charge rate of 5 amps per hour, enough for most cars and SUVs - the same as the MXS 5.0. But it delivers a higher voltage of charge required by deep cycle or EFB batteries. But it doesn’t have the mode button of the MXS 5 and this makes the latter more versatile, since it offers 4 separate cycles that allow for battery reconditioning as well one specifically for AGM batteries.

EFB batteries were introduced as a lower tier option to AGM batteries in terms of performance and durability. AGM are better suited to meeting the demands of higher specification vehicles that have one or more of the following technologies: Start Stop, Regenerative Braking and Passive Boost.

Regards,

Clive
