Trim codes.

Does anybody know where I can get leather trim codes' details ? If I get the trim code number where will I find the name for that code ?

I'm not being specific to one particular colour, I mean for basically every trim that has been made and fitted. It's something a coach trimmer has asked me because he's often given a code but the owner isn't sure what the proper name is.

Any help will be appreciated.

I used to have a list of trim types/colour and their codes. Ive been looking for it and so far I have found the service book for my first series two car which I lost when it had travelled 20,000 miles (and then found after replacing it), my original PCGB membership cards and some terrifying receipts from Merlin Chatsworth...

Have you looked at the volume of PET describing seats? The .pdf is downloadable from the Porsche website and seems quite comprehensive.

If you are talking about the two character trim code printed on the Vehicle Identification Label in the service book you're on a hiding to nothing. Apparently each two letter code incorporates hundreds of selections regarding numerous items of the interior trim - not just the colour - and nobody, to my knowledge, has ever been able to publish any type of decoder. One can only presume that Porsche AG know how they generate the codes but they don't seem to be letting on!!

Regards

Dave
