SEPTEMBER 2004, TRIP TO PORSCHE CENTRE NEWCASTLE

This is a proposed event for September, talks are still ongoing with the dealership and if they go well full details will be published next month and as usual on the regional website. The last visit was an excellent event with several members given the opportunity of driving a brand new 996 Turbo and with this month coinciding with the launch of the new 997, who knows, so keep your fingers crossed.

HI there

I am busy repairing my 3rd 911 this one is a C4 (first one i have ever had to repair) A high speed accident in reverse into a tree! I bought this one damaged and i have been to see the last owner in Oxford to understand the full story. Would it be okay if i attended in my company car as i guess the Porssche will not be finished by then?

Thanks

As mentioned in the August edition of Porsche Post I have been talking to our local official Porsche dealership to arrange another visit. Those of you who attended back in April will remember we had a tremendous time test driving a brand new 996 Turbo and the staff made us all feel very welcome. Make a note of Sunday the 10th of October in your diaries because David Gardiner and his staff have invited us back, let me know if you intend on taking part, as I need an idea of numbers please, and who knows, the new 997 could be waiting for a test drive.
We will meet at our usual place of the Ramside Hall car park for 10am heading off at 10.15am. It promises to be a good visit so see you there or I have a feeling you might regret it.
