Re: PSE, if i do go down that route, i'm intending to fit it manually for the fun/experience of it. But, with regards to it being not possible to retro-fit, could that really be the case or are they just unable to supply a reasonable answer as yet? I can't see what could be the problem, unless the fact that it took so long to develop has something to do with it.

Back in the 1990s when I was still in my teens, I had a three valley exhaust on my 2.7 Carrera. Sounded like a wounded aardvark having root canal treatment without an anaesthetic but on the rollers it only gave 207 bhp. Putting a standard SSI exhaust manifold and back box on the car turned it into 220 bhp. It still wears the quiet box[
( PS Three valley exhaust? Wossat? A three valley exhaust is one that's so loud that when you fire it up, the pigeons start to fly three valleys away.....[

I asked the sales guy at East London OPC about retrofitting an PSE and he said that it was not possible on a 3.2 - only factory fitted at the moment, but as it's the SAME fitting as a 3.4, it would be on Techquipment soon.

It will be about 10 weeks before the kit is released. Once that happens Porsche will publish fitting times so we can be exact on the total cost.

Until then I'm afraid we cannot finalise any costings.

My contact within Porsche confirmed the above figures and that the retrofit is entirely possible. It sounds like a few people firing off before thinking at the OPC's.

Popolou then all things are "all normal" in the world of OPC's [
The deal breaker will probably be the £100-120ph OPC's will want for there labour expertise an indi would be half the price and several after market exhaust suppliers will supply & then fit for free! Can't see any OPC being so customer friendly
