Hi

Have just managed to obtain a nice set of Red brake calipers off of a 993 Turbo.

Question is, does anyone happen to know whether they will fit a standard 993?

Thanks

lee

In short yes but not without upgraded piping/discs etc..... maybe wheel size will come in to it too ???

I'm sure Maurice will be along shortly to explain all.

lucky man ! i'm still trying to find a set [8|]

were they much £ ?

I fitted a set of RS calipers (or rather JZ Machtech did) to a 993 C2......look great and your eyes pop out when you hit the brakes! The only problem is that the orginal wheels don't fit over the calipers....I have a set of perfect wheels for sale!!!!!Alan

Sundeep by the time you have finshed moding you could have bought a Turbo

did I mention I was thinking about putting 18" turbo alloys on as well ! []

Thanks for the responses.

I'm sure you guys spotted the deliberate mistake when I meant TURBO calipers not TUBO....the new Super Carlos Fandago calipers...not yet available in the UK.

The car has 18"s so were ok there but as I suspected we need discs.

Oh and the cost was a snip but I haven't got my hands on them yet.

Keep you posted.

Still, its only money ..... and time ..... and effort .... I haven't changed from the almighty blacks (with extra cooling) just yet .

I have not managed to defeat the standard brakes yet. The regular cut in of the ABS system tells me that the standard black calipers and rotors are not the limiting factor of braking performance for my car.

Ian.
