Tuesday 9th September meeting at Colchester OPC?

And don't forget to congratulate Sean Edwards on his Porsche Supercup win at SPA on Sunday in one of the F1 support races !

Ah but then you did.

Excellent evening. Outrageous cars and quite discrete (well if you took the stickers off). How silly would you feel sitting in a Veyron if you were passed by a fairly standard looking 911? [8D]

Big thank you to Colchester OPC - super night all round.

Absolutely, a great evening, very informative, especially the use of carbon fibre, the Cayman vs 911, and their developments of both. Makes you wonder when the cost benefits of using more carbon fibre on mainstream roadcars will see fruition. One assumes the price of CF will fall, auto companies pursue lower emissions/higher mpg, through weight loss, and if the punter has to pay a bit more for the privelege, the cost benefit starts to fall into shape. I suspect just a question of when, and not if.

And a big thankyou to all involved for last night.
