Mike Trotter and the guys from R18 have very kindly invited us to join them for an evening meet at David Hayton Cars of Carlisle CA3 0EW.
We have had the pleasure of visiting David Hayton's Prestige Cars on a couple of previous occasions, each time we have had the chance to see how the Porsche 930 restoration is developing in the workshops and a look around any current interesting stock they may have currently, cars like a 1973 Escort MK1 Mexico to an DMC DeLorean.

This is a great chance for those of you who may not be able to take time on a busy weekend to get the car out to take part in an evening meet or run out instead, taking advantage of the lighter evenings
The event will be a very relaxed evening with a chance to catch up with friends from R18 and you can come and go as you like from 7.00pm if you wish to meet us there.

Deb and I will be going straight from work on Tuesday and if anyone wishes to join us for the run over to Carlisle we plan to leave The Tyre Depot Whickham NE16 3DA around 6.00pm heading up onto the A69 heading west meeting others on the way at the parking lay-by just before Corbridge for around 6.20pm.

I can't make Sunday but will let you know about this.

Will probably meet in the layby with Stephen, last time I was in that layby was about 16 years ago with a lady at 3am.

(Actually that's a barefaced lie - she was no lady).
