A quick update.

1. Triton will be open from 0930.

2. Last time for signifying attendance is 2200 Thurs. - we would like to say just turn up on the day but we can't due to catering and other issues. SO if anyone thinks they may be coming PLEASE either let Steve Walker know on steve@stephenwalker.freeserve.co.uk or ring me on 07738 564856 ASAP - OR let Steve or Ian know at the meeting tonight.

3. Some runners haven't confirmed food requirements - we are being pushed for this - there is a danger that if you don't advise then food may not be there ( it may be that you have decided not to eat and if so please confirm ). Sorry to be a pain about this but we are trying to be fair to both you and those who are supporting us.

4. Please all pray to your own Gods for good weather on Sunday.

I am now going to drive to Aberdeen - cannot wait!!!

Fantasic day out Andrew and Steve [;)] had a brilliant time.Despite the mapreader going off at a tangent [:)] the resteraunt was top notch too.Well recommended

Congratulations Andrew and Steve on a superb day out, immaculately planned, organised and executed from start to finish. Good events like these don't just happen they need a lot of hard work so we really appreciate your efforts not only today but in the weeks leading up to it. It was a shame we couldn't stay for the meal but the girls were fine, if a little warm, after their eight and a half hours in the kennel!

We have some reasonable photos and have received some from John Holmes which we plan to have printed for June's Club night . If anyone else has some, please send them to us and we will include them.

Thank you Andrew and Steve for all the work involved in the Tulip Rally - we both enjoyed the run through the farmlands of the wolds - very interesting properties hidden away.

Great lunch at The Market Place in Malton and our thanks to John and Tanya for being such good hosts.

Well done Andrew and Steve, absolutely stunning day out, I imagine a serious amount of work went into getting it all together and it was well worth it.

Many thanks to Andrew and Steve. It was a superb day from start to end with impeccable organisation. It was very obvious that you must have spent many hours planning and fine tuning resulting in the day running perfectly. How you found some of those roads is anybodies guess.

Thanks for all the kind comments - have to say that we were really pleased by how it went and how much fun you were all having.

. We enjoyed it as well although at times it may not have looked as though we were doing. In the couple of weeks running up to it the word enjoyment clearly wasn't in our vocabulary - more like "whose b****y silly idea was this?"

In true project manager mode now - we are seeking any feedback/ideas about what we could have done differently/ how could we make it better next year? This applies to everything - route/catering ( though I have to say it was first class from my point of view at both venues ) /costs etc.etc. We are asking now as by next year ( or tomorrow in my case !) the details will have been forgotten. We have some ideas but you were the end users so please comment if you can. If you want to talk about it rather than put something on the forum then ring 07738 564856

If we are to grow this, which we want to, we need to look at ways forward.

Thanks to all the organiser for a really great day out, even though it was quite challenging.
The weather also added to the enjoyment of the day
The food completed a superb day
Even the journey home via Howden and the M62 was quick and traffic free
