Hello again,
Further to the notice in Porsche Post, please see the details of the Tulip Rally from Chris and Rose Firth. We need to know numbers so that lunch can be booked, so if you could let either myself and or Pauline know ( pollyhar6@hotmail.com ). Please make every attempt to support this, a lot of effort goes into the organisation of these events.
For those that have not done a Tulip Rally before, basically you get a semi kryptic set of directions (and often the destination in a sealed envelope just in case) and you have to reach the end having covered the minimum number of miles and closes to the target time. Simple eh!!!
Sunday 18 September.
Start at 10:00 Depending how many cars, let them off at 5 min intervals thereafter
Nr the war memorial, Wide Bargate, Boston.
The course is aprox 40 miles
Finish at the ******* Hotel, ******** *** (deleted for added interest - nice place however - Phil) , I have provisionally booked lunch at 1 pm. The cost is about £16 for a 3 course lunch including coffee. I need to confirm numbers a few days before.
