Turbo 100th birthday this week

the first turbocharger was patented on 16th November 1905; Porsche is celebrating the anniversary by announcing VTG (variable turbo geometry) for its next generation turbo 911s.

You'll probably be able to retro-fit the new turbo's to the 996TT.
I reckon any active suspension they might introduce should also be retro-fittable.

Once I've rattled off the 120K miles, and am out of warranty, this is my upgrade path. Cheaper than buying a new one, and I'll be just as quick.
