Turbo 2 - heat exchangers

Hi folks, couple of questions about the heat exchangers on the 964 Turbo 2..

1. Are the parts / part numbers the same as the C2/C4, or 930?

2. Is there anywhere that sells OEM/pattern type exchangers online, either mild or stainless - I need a price.

I'm not looking for aftermarket stuff - I know 9m, fabspeed, GHL etc do those.

Found the part numbers (they're unique to the 965, but are the same part left and right).

Just trying to find a price on a replacement part.. £250-£350 sound about right?

Nick,
Are they original design, and do you know who makes them? eg. Porsche or other? And do you think the stainless steel offer any performance benefits over original (mild steel?) due to possible smoother airflow and heat dissipation?

I am sure there is no gain in power, but there is surelay a gain in residual value with SS, and don't they look petty?

I didn't check the heat exchanger flanges but the pipes and shrouds are stainless. The crossover pipe is stainless with mild flanges.

Hi Nick,

may I ask where you got the ss headers from and at what price- I am also interested

Thanks and best regards

Emilios
