God Help The Poor RMS :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: Me thinks this could be a seriously grey area []

This is a supercharger kit I bought from the USA and was installed on a Boxster S by a company called S-Car-Go.They have a workshop specialising in uprated Porsches and developed this system to fit the Boxster or 996.

I have not had the time to get this fitted to my car(as I normally work abroad)and so it may as well go to someone who will benefit from it.

It comprises of aluminium intake and outlet pipes,a carbon air filter pipe, hoses and clamps, supercharger(I think its an Eaton)with mounting bracket and idler pulleys, and an electronic control box(secondary injector driver)

I have been told that for someone whos mechanicaly minded it should not prove a problem to retro fit this system. The system apparently produced 340 bhp at the rear wheels!

I know of a couple of Yanks running superchargers on 986's for several years - although one came to grief when turning the boost up just a tad too much.

I'd like to see it in situ as there is not a lit of room in there!

JCB..

Daro "Er..the RMS's gone. It's out of warranty as well but only by 3 months"
OPC "No problem Mr D, you're one of our best customers. We'll pick this one up. Oh, just a routine question for the insurers, any mods?"
Daro "Mods you say? Er, not as far as I remember. Oh hang on, I've got a carbon effect gear lever knob. Ah yes, and the kids got me a furry Pokemon dashboard character"
OPC "No worries. Back it into this bay here. Hang on, what's this biscuit tin doing welded on here, and what about this 20 meters of braided hosing, titanium heat protection and a big yellow disclaimer sticker?"
Daro "Oh that! I thought you meant serious mods. That's just my electric garage door opener"
