Turbo bodyshell- put me straight.....

Hello folks. I am about to move on from a 996 C4S coupe and I am a little confused re body shapes. I know the car I currently have is a 996 body shell, wider body and lower height. Where I am not so sure is on the following;

I am under the impression that the 997 range has a wider bodyshell shape than the 996 ie the same body shape as the 997 turbo and 997 C4S, am I right or wrong?

Some one put me straight please!
 
Ok, thank you for that. To be a little more technical how wide is the 997 C2S (I don't know how wide my 996 C4S is actually...) and from your answer I am assuming the narrow body you are talking about is on the 997?
