Hey all

Just been given a boost guage, thought I might fit it but can anyone tell me which Pipe I connect it to???

Had an rs turbo many years ago and connected it to a pipe on the inlet manifold but having looked under the bonnet wouldn't know which one to connect to

Almost any of them would do, a vacuum is a vacuum after all but one is more practical to use than the others. The KLR pipe is the clear one that goes from the manifiold back towards the brake booster & into the firewall. I split that pipe & put a T-Piece in to fit mine (although I've since removed it again) under the dash (not in the engine bay) so I wouldn't have to try to get a second tube through the firewall.

I took mine off the hose that runs into the Fuel Pressure Regulator at the back of the fuel rail. However I have replaced all my stock plastic hoses and replaced with Purisil hoses which makes the job much easier. I also routed the hose to the boost gauge through an existing hole and grommet in the bulkhead just behing the ABS accumilator - it was a real pain but I got it through.

You need to be sure to keep it away from the ABS coils in the foot well as well [&:] I didn't and it welded the pipe together ultimately []
