The swap isn't exactly straight forward. they don't just bolt up.
The Brembo upgrade (I'm assuming you mean the boxster one?) isn't that much better than your carrera brakes as it uses the same disc.
There are a few threads worth reading on the Rennsport forums and Pelican sites.
I have upgraded the fronts to Boxster monoblocs with 16" fuchs and the braking is superb BUT the rear end locks up on trackdays due to excessive weight transfer. there is also concern that the monobloc upgrade "overpowers" the standard discs ( American terminology) and leads to overheating.
The subject is massive and there is no clear cut solution , why not come up to Knockhill in Fife one evening and if I substantialy outbrake you you can confidently invest in the mod? !!!

Can anyone help, I am looking at replacing my breaks...
Would it be appropriate to ask what problems you are having with the brakes and what your car is used for. You may find that the cure is much less expensive than you think. Certainly for road use, the 3.2 brakes, if working correctly, are more than adequate. For track use, the website that the link in Chris' email takes you to provides a very comprehensive answer.

'Cos you gave me the same advice! [
Seriously, though, zwhitea, get your brakes serviced up to factory standard, THEN if you're still not happy, go for big-buck, big-disc conversions.
Why did you want to replace them, btw?
