Even so, for a Turbo brake setup, try these:

If things get too silly, you might like to consider a set of Willwood calipers available from rennbay.com . They've been reviewed OK by the rennlist boyz.
Oh, and I don't think turbo brakes are a bigger diameter, just thicker, better venting, better calipers etc etc. If you want bigger, then maybe have a look at big reds or big blacks. Examples of them at www.paragon-products.com , but search for a good price. Paragon are usually amongst the best, but you never know who's doing a special.....

Big reds and blacks are bigger diameter. the 944 brakes were all meant to fit under 16" wheels, whereas the reds & blacks were off 928S4's and big 911's and meant for 17"s. After that, start reading the demon tweeks catalogue for AP racing stuff, and expect the worst......
I'm not sure i've seen a set of reds&blacks for the "s" though. maybe not much call, but equally, maybe not done.?
IIRC, the rennbay kit is meant to run on standard discs.

I know Travis won't sell rubbish, but the gains may be marginal over a proper caliper overhaul and a decent set of pads/discs, and that ain't gonna set you back $750+shipping+tax.

I used rebuilt calipers all round. 944 Turbo 's' front brakes (from WUF) but need to use either turbo 220 front hubs with radial mount brackets (as I used) or 944 Turbo 's' front hubs.

Promax do big black kits that consist of the disks, calipers, pads and SS braided lines for a pretty reasonable price as I've been pricing up brakes recently and they are pretty pricey items and hard to come by - properly refurbed ones are almost as much as new - I've seen big reds on ebay going for between £350 and £500 - throw in another £300 for new disks and another £100 or so for pads and you are up at the cost of the Promax Big Black kit. All you would need in addition are the right brackets.
It's true that the std brakes are perfectly adequate for most people but you can't beat a wheel filled with disk and caliper. I cringe when I see boyed up Corsa's with 17" wheels and brake disks the size of 10p pieces!!

This means that the bleed nipples are the wrong way up and both they and the crossover pipes need to be swapped position. Apart from that, red is the best colour !! []

Or even better, the ripspeed demo car with 18"s and DRUMS the size of 5p pieces !!!! []

I wouldn't touch Wilwood brakes; I haven't heard much good about them and too much bad. I think they are cheap in every sense of the word. I have a complete set of 944 250 Turbo calipers in my garage (front and rear) if anyone wants any. They need a coat of paint but the plates and seals are good.
I'd agree with you there Fen. There were Wilwoods on my Ultima when I bought it. They really were rubbish. They were definitely of the "cheap and nasty" style. They look nice when they're on the car with the wheels on, but they're crap where it matters (ie, stopping you).
I took them off and replaced them with a nice set of 4 pot Brembos, and they would stop the car on a sixpence.
I still have the Wilwoods in a box in my garage. Maybe I'll stick them on eBay some day. I'm sure that a Chav will give me something for them to go on his Nova []
