Turbo Cabriolet parking brake adjuster

Does anybody know if the hand brake shoes are adjustable on the Turbo Cabriolet? I have looked for the adjuster at 12'0clock but can't see it.

I would think so - but have not had to adjust mine yet - I know on the coupe the adjuster is really hard to find the first time - There is a hole with a toothed wheel behind it you can turn the wheel with a screwdriver in theory - but it needs the threads to be well lubricated in my experience - If I remember correctly the wheel is in the centre (vertical) with threads either side (horizontal) but I cant recall if it is top or bottom of the drum (or at the quarter past / quarter to with vertical threads and horizontal wheel.

There is a brake tool available that makes it a bit easier than using a screw driver

remember to slacken the handbrake cable right off before adjusting the shoes

Thanks for your help everyone, I had previously looked at Pelican Parts, I just could not find the cog! Thankfully I have now and the cog was quite free to rotate, I followed all the steps unfortunately the near side brake is still not pulling up on the hand brake, anyone have any idea what can be the problem?

Or the swan neck lever seized up

the only way to fix it is slacken the adjuster back off, find a box or bit of wood about the right height to balance the Caliper on,

undo the two Caliper bolts catching the spacers as they fall, lift the caliper off the disk then undo the two cross head screws and pop the disk off

you can then check all the mech for the hand brake

getting the spacers back in is a bit of a faff

Thanks for the advice, I striped the brake down and found a combination of seized cable and also the swan neck lever is very tight.
Just need to strip the cables out and see if I can free up the long one before I buy a new one, anyone ever done this ? Any tips will be appreciated.

The cables are Nylon / PTFE lined, once that gets full of dirt and crap plus rust on the steel cables, they are basically done,

i have seen them on euro car parts before, but the don’t always have them
